ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The Bartending Academy was established in 1982 and is the oldest bartending school in Hawai'i. Our comprehensive course is the result of countless hours of bartending and bar managing from some of the hottest bartenders around. We currently have graduates working in Hawai'i, the U.S. mainland, and foreign countries.

WHAT DOES THE BARTENDING ACADEMY OFFER?

You may choose from either a morning or evening class and are given one-on-one training with an experienced instructor. Upon successful completion of our two-week course, you will be awarded our internationally recognized Bartending Certificate and qualify for immediate employment as a professional bartender! That's not all! We also provide on the job training at well known bars and restaurants in which you will experience opening and closing procedures, stocking inventory, drink mixing, and more. You will also be evaluated by a manager which makes a great reference for your job hunting. You are also welcome to free practice sessions and lifetime job placement assistance.

WHY SHOULD YOU BARTEND?

  • Excellent income potential
